INDEPENDENCE & TRANSPARENCY

What an estimate can tell you.

Financial, housing, vehicle, and electricity limitations for the calculators.

Financial comparison, not personal advice

Results are estimates from selected formulas and user inputs. They are not financial, tax, legal, real-estate, mechanical, or utility advice. A smaller modeled cost does not establish that an option is suitable or safe for you.

Limits by tool

Car comparisons do not diagnose a vehicle or account for every reliability risk. Rent benchmarks are not landlord approvals or statements about legally permitted fees. Electricity estimates do not replace your utility tariff or measured consumption. Commute estimates exclude costs not explicitly modeled.

Confidence has a limited meaning

The confidence indicator summarizes how you classify your inputs. It is an editorial information-quality rubric, not a statistical confidence interval or a probability that a prediction will be correct. Default inputs can yield exact arithmetic and an unreliable personal estimate.
